Below are some highlights of my
hosting, producing and game show career!
I worked as a
trivia writer, a question-triggering production assistant and an operations
manager at PlayCafe.com, the first online game show network. I wrote over 1,200
trivia questions for this position, along with distributing prizes, updating
live leaderboards online and providing live support in the chat rooms. Later in
that occupation, I hosted over 35 hours of live internet games. Below are three
rounds of live games I hosted one evening.

As part of their
GSN Live "Road Trip", the Game Show Network traveled to the homes of some
of the bigger winners on the show and I was one of the lucky ones chosen! They
did a tour of my home, my winnings and (the only one on the tour do so) we
played a game where a home viewer can win an awesome prize. Live host
Heidi Bohay commented that "[I] should come down here and be on GSN
Live."

In the month of
March 2009, GSN went on a mall tour, looking for the next best game show host.
The winner would receive a free trip to L.A. and a guest spot on GSN Live. I
auditioned as a host when they came to a mall in Detroit. I made it to the
semi-finals of this competition!

This is an
"On Demand" version of PlayCafe which highlights how an acverage show
would run in a nutshell. Some of the questions I wrote and some of the rounds I
helped design are featured in this video

I was part of
Kearsley High School's television program, K-NEWS. I produced, edited and hosted
two very successful and popular pieces based on the television program "Are You
Smarter Than a 5th Grader?".

I wrote trivia for
game show host and comedian J. Keith van
Straaten's game show pilot presentation, "The Waiting Game". I also wrote
material and assisted in design of visuals for his live game show concept "Word 1", which had a three-day test run live in Los
Angeles.
